Cat. #001541213: LIBBY HOLMAN

Scarce vintage black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch tan album page, with an inscription in green fountain pen, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition, with evidence of some difficulty with the writing implement when she was giving the dedication. Legendary torch singer Libby Holman, who was also an occasional movie actress, committed suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning in 1971.
