Debuting back in 1993, the Air 9 was the one sneaker to release during Michael ’s 13-month stint in Minor League Baseball. Since its release, the 9 has featured a plethora of popular colorways such as 2019’s Gym Red and Pearl Blue. In 2020, Brand expanded its collection with the Air 9 University Blue.
The Air 9 University Blue is constructed with OG color-blocking in mind. The upper holds a mix of white leather and black speckled overlays. Subtle hits of University Blue appear on both Jumpman logos featured on the midsole and heel, the "Air " tongue tab, and the embroidered "23" found on the heel. Wrapping up this classic model is the University Blue on the Jumpman logo embossed on the outsole.
