Cat. #005210011: GENE TIERNEY

Fantastic 8x10-inch black and white portrait in a two-piece bathing suit in her prime, shown in a publicity shoot from the time of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947), boldly signed in blue felt-tip pen, with no dedication, in her later years. In good condition and superb for display. Breathtaking leading lady Gene Tierney played an assortment of virginal and utterly untrustworthy types in classic films like The Shanghai Gesture (1941); Heaven Can Wait (1943); Laura (1944); A Bell for Adano (1945); Leave Her to Heaven (1945), for which she was nominated for an Oscar; Dragonwyck (1946); The Razor's Edge (1946); and The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947).
