Brigitte Bardot: Intimate

Brigitte Bardot: Intimate by Fabrice Gaignault, with photography by Jicky Dussart, is a rare and deeply personal portrait of the French screen siren, offering an unprecedented glimpse into her private world. Unearthed from a suitcase of never-before-seen negatives discovered in Dussart’s attic, the book moves beyond the myth of Bardot the star to reveal Bardot the woman—captured in tender moments at La Madrague, laughing with friends, caring for animals, and living freely by the sea. With Bardot’s own reflections woven into the narrative, these images pulse with authenticity, nostalgia, and the warmth of a friendship that transcended fame, delivering the most intimate chronicle of her life to date.
